A lot of people ask me when the last time I went to the Philippines was . I'm ashamed to say that it was when I was maybe 10. That's over a decade. I'm sorry to say I have almost no contact with my cousins. I don't know if its bad or not to admit that I feel like the surrogate family( those I've grown up with, and those i've been around) are more of a family than my blood. I'm sure my mind will change when I go off in a year or so. After school.
